The two artworks are connected. The red line is indeed the bridge between the two sculptures and it represents human intimacy, not meant as a physical and carnal connection between the bodies but instead, as the more intimate and platonic feelings that we as humankind experience when in love with somebody.
We suggest you to look at these two artworks as if they were two people, inevitably connected to one another by an inner feeling and trying to dialogue about what they feel, their secrets, their experiences, their tastes, and passions. What if they feel embarrassed within this process? Can the feeling of love become the elephant? Something so easy but difficult to overlap and admit to both the other person and ourselves.
