Nicolò Cambrai was born in Monselice (Padua) in 1994. He studied art from the very beginning of his career. He graduated at the artistic high school ‘Amedeo Modigliani’ in Padua, and later attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, from which he graduated in 2016 with a degree in Painting.

Cambrai’s art is characterized by a unique style, where the practice of sewing encounters the canvas. The needle and thread substitute brush and paint and they create a particular effect that challenges the perception beyond the typical two-dimensional form. The artworks are constituted by layers upon layers and voluminous waves of colored lines and spots.
